EST: Kuskilt saab kõik alguse. Teadaolevalt on siit alguse saanud vähemalt kaks tähtsat asja. Tahkurannast Pärnusse kolimise järgselt ostis ehitusmeister Jakob Päts siia suure krundi. Ehitas endale maja ning jagas ülejäänud maa kruntideks. Selle sama valge maja ehitusega ning kruntide müügiga pani ta alguse Pärnu Raeküla linnaosa tekkimisele.
Alustajaid oli teisigi – tema viiest ellu jäänud lapsest Konstatinist sai Eesti Vabariigi esimene president, Peeter rajas Eesti looduskaitse, Marianne oli Eesti Punase risti üks eestvedajaid, Nikolai kõrge vaimulik ja Voldemar haridustegelane.
Paraku maja endaga käib vägikaikavedu, vaatamata riigi soovile teha maja korda ning rajada sinna muuseum, ei ole see õnnestunud ja nii ongi ta sellises nukras seisus.
ENG: Everything starts somewhere. At least two important things are known to have started here. After moving from Tahkuranna to Pärnu, construction master Jakob Päts bought a large plot here. He built himself a house and divided the rest of the land into plots. With the construction of this same white house and the sale of plots of land, he started the emergence of the Raeküla district of Pärnu.
There were other pioneers - one of his five surviving children, Konstatin, became the first president of the Republic of Estonia, Peeter founded the Estonian Nature Conservancy, Marianne was one of the leaders of the Estonian Red Cross, Nikolai was a high-ranking clergyman, and Voldemar was an educator.
Unfortunately, the house itself is in quite bad shape, despite the state's desire to fix the house and build a museum there, it has not been successful, and so it is in such a sad state.
