Come hang out with your fellow geocachers in Colt State Park for the ninth year of this event! I'm going to try something new for this event as for the first time will really be held after summer is over on the first Saturday of October.
Colt State Park is a beautiful park located in Bristol, Rhode Island. It currently has 464 acres of lawn, lots of hiking trails and spectacular views of the water. Hard to believe this will be the eighth year of hosting an event here but we are glad to be abkle to do it again!
We will be meeting at a small picnic area in the relative middle of the park. This will ensure easy access to different areas of the park so you can mingle, find a few caches, and then return and mingle some more if you choose. This will be the same meeting area as the last five years, and since it worked well those times, it will be used once again.
The event will be held on Saturday, October 22nd from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. Come and stay for the whole time or just a few minutes.
Bring a picnic lunch if you choose to as well as anything else you may need for your geocaching afternoon. There are plenty of caches in this park to find, and more will be released for the event. We hope to see you there and you have a great time!
