Sept. 27. Leaving Burgos we passed the marker for 500 km left to Santiago. That really gave us a boost realizing we had covered over 300 km already. We spent the day walking past sunflower fields waiting to be harvested and wheat fields that were already done. 24.7 km got us to. . . Hornillos, Burgos, Castille y León, Spain.
Tall rubber boots are likely required for most of the caches. Some of the ditches are very steep.
