Sept. 28. This was supposed to be a short day, but with the ruins of a monastery to explore and an old castle on the ‘mountain’ that overlooks the whole valley adding about 6 km to our day, we finally rested our feet after 27.7 km in. . . Castrojeriz, Burgos, Castille y León, Spain.
