Geocache Description:

The Cache is NOT at posted coordinates!

So don't go there.  Instead, you'll discover the Final coordinates with a little sleuthing from the following story (Disclaimer: This story is fiction; any relationship to named persons is completely coincidental).

The bench at gz is placed in honor of Arvel "Smitty" Smith.  He was a man of exemplary character in the town of Graf.  He owned and ran a butcher shop in town back in the early 1940's.  Although his lifestyle wasn't extravagant, his customers appreciated the fact that he was constantly upgrading his equipment and facilities in order to better serve the public.  His shop was also the place where a lot of locals would hang out for an hour or two to visit.  Smitty even created a message board on site for patrons to place announcements or ads.

Staying in business was a constant battle for Smitty.  The local health inspector seemed to stop at his shop much more often than other butchers in the area.  He made it crystal clear that if anything was below the mark, Smitty would be cited for the violation.  Alex Jones was the inspector.  Word had it that he was a sour person who spent a great deal of time "regulating" the shops.  Maybe regulating is too soft a word.  How about terrorizing?

Nonetheless, Smitty's shop was the best in the area and his veal cutlets were hailed as the best in the Tri-State area.  People would come from hours away just to see his display case with the superior cuts of meat grouped onto the trays.  Alex Jones could not curtail Smitty's sales, no matter how hard he tried to make it.

When he turned 75, Smitty passed his business along to his two sons, but still came into the butcher shop for a few hours every morning.  He passed away at the age of 86.  The shop continued for a few more years, but struggled without Smitty's presence.  The sons closed the shop, and the building was left idle before being torn down.

So, there you have it.  The coordinates are in front of you.  Do you see them?  Best of luck!
