Although you might not find many frogs here you will find yourself emerged in the cultural history of Lake Cargelligo!
The beautiful ochre pits here were a high commodity amoung our First Nations people. Once grinded up into a powder ochre (amoungst other things) was used for many things, paint for art and body decoration for corroborees and is still be used by our First Nations people today.
Frogs hollow has a very diverse history which you can learn about from the info signs at the top of the hill and along the walkway.
