vblund: Stopped by today with my father, Delbert. Then he could see the park named for another Delbert.

Well, it appears this has disappeared for a second time. I haven't had good luck with my Barnesville caches. All the ones I placed last year have managed to walk off. Archiving this.

I was driving around Barnesville, scoping out possible cache locations for the upcoming NSGS Geoseekers event, when I came across this nice neighborhood park. Hmm, this has possibilities.

Then I noticed the landscaped area in memory of Delbert Peterson. What do you know? My dad's name is also Delbert.

So I simply must place a cache here, for others to come and enjoy this area.
