The Earthquake Park has all the makin's for an eventful time to meet other geocachers here in Anchorage. Easy to locate, ample parking, several geocaches to find, and a really close Earthcache. That should make the time spent in getting here more fruitful.
Lets build on that and get together for trading PathTags, Travel Bugs, stories, hints, etc. I'd like to see a happy mix of locals & travelers. We can all go home having made some new friends, earned a smiley in Alaska, helped a TB along on their mission, and I should be close enough to the airport to get to my flight on time...LOL.
I spent 50 years in the Telecommunications Industry, and was happy and content, until my sister & bro-in-law (MrsV & Vertumnis) got me in the woods with a GPSr. I retired a year later, and it's been a whirlwind of fun, friends, and travel ever since. Alaska will be my 50th state. I have driven well over 250,000 miles in search of ammo cans, pill bottles, and Tupperware in the 8 year process. I never imagined all that would ever happen this late in my life.
Soooo, let's get together and celebrate the good life we all are experiencing, and encourage each other to keep at it and have some major fun.
I'll have a few geocaching decals for your car, if interested. See you at the park...😎.
