Phillip Island Landcare have once again asked for support to plant in their effort to revegetate Phillip Island. Those who have participated in their plantings before will know how well their events are run from providing plants, tools and preparing the ground beforehand to their wonderful post planting lunches providing for all diets.
This is an unusual date as its on a Tuesday, so those looking to participate on a CITO on a Tuesday might consider booking the day off work if necessary and possible.
This planting day will be held on council land recently damaged by works in the reserve. The site could be quite muddy, so gum boots ot tough leather boots might be appropriate and warm clothing,
Park along the side of Gap Road where you see others parking and go to the gate where people will be gathering.
Please reply by Sunday 28th August for catering purposes. hopefully the weather will be a bit warmer by then.
