藤崎森林公園内の旧大沢家住宅の近く（旧大沢家住宅の敷地の外）にキャッシュを設置しました。

旧大沢家住宅は、寛文4年(1664)に建築された東日本最古級の古民家です。江戸時代に上総国長柄郡宮成村（現在の千葉県長生郡長生村）の名主をつとめた大沢家の住宅として、昭和48年(1973)まで使用されていました。昭和51年、建築当初の姿に移築復原され、同年11月に開館しました。この住宅は、江戸時代中期までの典型的な房総民家の形式を今に伝えています。その特徴として、開口部が少なく「デイ（出居）」の戸口が格子窓と壁だけで構成されていること、差鴨居が少ないこと、大黒柱が使われておらず床の間もないことなどがあげられます。 ※リーフフレットから引用

The cache is located near the former Osawa family residence in Fujisaki Forest Park (outside the grounds of the former Osawa family residence). Please bring your own pen.
The former Osawa Family Residence is one of the oldest private houses in eastern Japan, built in 1664. It was used as the residence of the Osawa family, who were the village headman of Miyanari Village, Nagara County,Kazusa Province (present-day Chousei Village, Chousei County, Chiba Prefecture) during the Edo period (1603-1868), until 1973. In 1976, the house was moved and restored to its original state, and opened in November of the same year.
The house still retains the form of a typical Boso minka (private house) dating back to the mid-Edo period. Its features include the fact that the "dei" doorway has few openings and consists only of a lattice window and a wall, that no daikoku-bashira (main pillar) are used and there is no tokonoma (alcove). *Quotes from the leaflet
