Geocache Description:

series that will not only introduce you to some of the dog parks around the mornington peninsula but we will also be sharing some fun facts and information about a different breed of dog for every cache in the series! Although they are numbered they don't have to be done in order. We have also got our resident experts, Ebony (Gnome5580s geodog!) And Calypso (Beckgizs geodog!) Who will be giving each dog park a score of 1 to 5 paws depending on how much she approves of this park! 🐶 we hope you enjoy this series as much as Ebony and Calypso had testing each of these parks out 😉 and on that note here is their opinion of this park:

ROBINSONS PARK:

This large park in Frankston is a great spot to come and exercise your puppies, it has several large fields and ovals with heaps of open spaces to run and play. There's also a few small walking tracks and it also connects to the Peninsula link trail too. This park has also got water, bins, toilets and plenty of parking. There is fencing but there are a few places where its open so you may just have to keep an eye on your doggos but otherwise this is a great area to run around in, Ebony and Caly give this park a 4 out of  5 paws! The dog we have picked for this park is the:

Shiba Inu:

The Shiba Inu is a breed of hunting dog from Japan. A small-to-medium breed, it is the smallest of the six original and distinct spitz breeds of dog native to Japan. A small, alert, and agile dog that copes very well with mountainous terrain and hiking trails, the Shiba Inu was originally bred for hunting. They can make good family pets although they tend to be more strongly bonded to 1 or 2 people, they can be extremely stubborn but have a very endearing personality. They are fiercely loyal to their owners and great companions.

Life span: 12 – 15 years

Temperament: Charming, Keen, Alert, Confident, Fearless, Faithful

Colors: Red Sesame, Black & Tan, Cream, Black Sesame, Red, Sesame

Weight: Male: 8–11 kg, Female: 6.8–9 kg

The Cache:

You are looking for a 200ml plastic jar hidden in a usual way, please make sure that you cover it back up again after you've found it and remember that people can appear from anywhere so stealth will definitely be required. It might also be a lot more bust here when there are sports on so pick your time to search! Good luck and happy hunting! 🤠
