Heritage New Zealand Pouwhere Taonga has kindly given permission for this cache. Please treat the property with respect. It is not necessary to pay the entrance fee to sign the cache.

Alberton. This exceptionally well-preserved mansion is an architectural delight offering a fascinating insight into the lives of a wealthy early settler family. This beautiful home is full of interesting possessions owed by the Kerr-Taylor family and worth a look around.

Opening Hours:  Sun 10.30 am to 4pm

Entrance Fee: Its not necessary to pay to sign the cache. The house is full of history and an interesting place to visit, Adults $10, children and HNZPT members free.
