Welcome to Cantwell's Bridge AKA Odessa! There is no longer a toll to cross the bridge and the town name was changed to Odessa years ago.

Thanks to Rodney Sharp and the Odessa Foundation, quite a few have been restored and the town is a Historic District.
Some buildings are in private hands now, but as you walk or drive down Main Street and the side streets you can appreciate the outsides. Don't miss the Pump House (handy for travelers of the time) and the Collins-Sharp House (the oldest).
Parking and room to turn your car around is at the corrected coordinates. Use common sense since this little town has a surprising amount of traffic crossing over the bridge and on Main Street. The speed limit can be strictly enforced, especially on Route 13.
