This building has been here for many years. It started as the village’s first cheese factory, built in 1873, known as New Glarus Cheese Mfg. Co. which produced American cheese shipped directly to England. It has also been Streiff Insurance, a building used for the Milwaukee Road railroad system, The Whistle Stop Ice Cream Shop, and is currently Kennedy's Ice Cream and Grill which opened in 2013
