Geocache Description:

This year's Ledbury Poetry Festival has been cancelled following the brutal murder of the Town Crier.

The local constabulary are completely baffled by this seemingly senseless crime. However, they do have a list of six possible murder weapons and nine locations where the crime may have taken place. In addition they have identified six leading suspects from the poets who were due to perform at the event. This list is as follows:

Weapon Suspect Location
Arrow (W1) Elizabeth Barrett Browning (S1) The Cathol (L1)
Cleaver (W2) Raegan Butcher (S2) Garden of remembrance (L2)
Hammer (W3) Lewis Carrol (S3) Hall (L3)
Rifle and bayonet (W4) John Masefield (S4) Ledbury park (L4)
Rope (W5) George Bernard Shaw (S5) Library (L5)
Scissors (W6) Edward Thomas (S6) Old police station (L6)
    Secret passage (L7)
    Theatre (L8)
    The Walled garden (L9)

The published coordinates are for the recommended car park and start point.

Your task is to solve the crime by visiting each of the 18 waypointed locations, where you will find information to help you eliminate either a weapon, suspect or location. Each waypoint has a note to tell you which of these you should be looking for.

Eventually you will be left with a single weapon, suspect and location. Each of these has a 2 digit code associated with it. Please enter these six digits into the checker in weapon, suspect and location order with no spaces (eg W6S7L0). If your deductions are correct you will be given the location of the cache itself.

Good luck! The people of Ledbury are depending on you.

You will need tweezers and a pen to sign the log. Please use stealth when retrieving and replacing the cache as it is a busy, overlooked, location.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
