Geocache Description:

There is a stamp inside the container for people to stamp their own Letterbox collection book - so please make sure you or anyone in your group does not remove this. Loss of stamps create high maintenance logs and result in them being archived and hence a rare cache type.

There have been a number of geocaches at this cemetry over the years, but I don't believe (and correct me if I am wrong) a Letterbox type of geocache.

This is a nice traditional type of letterbox - all you have to do is go to the given co-ordinates, instructions on best way in below. When you sign the cache remember to stamp your own stamp on the page too - plenty of room in the logbook.

The Middlemarch Museum’s extensive photographic collection will be of interest to people retracing tthe history of thoses who now reside here. They hold the cemetery transcripts, death notices, obituaries and unique catalogue of newspaper articles about people who lived in or had association with the Strath Taieri.

This is best not rushed so you don't hurt yourself at or on way to GZ.  Best/safest way to reach the cache is to enter the cemetry then walk along the concrete path until Andrew Reid (gravestone head that looks live a us police officers badge), walk into the pine tree line at this point then walk between the pine trees and fence until you reach the stump with concrete over it - ensure to put concrete back on and make sure the container is out of sight.
