About SideTracked
This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's simply a cache-and-dash distraction for the weary public transport user, which can be found at or near train stations, former train stations, and miniature railroads. About This Station
Pomona is served by Amtrak intercity rail and Metrolink commuter rail. Amtrak serves the Pomona station with thrice-weekly service provided by the Sunset Limited and Texas Eagle combined service; Metrolink's Riverside Line runs a commute schedule to and from Los Angeles on weekdays. The 1940 station was designed by Donald Parkinson in the Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival styles. Details include stuccoed walls, an arcade and red clay tile roofs.
About This Cache
The cache is just off Metrolink property, per SideTracked guidelines. You shouldn't have any trouble grabbing it if you have 5-10 minutes to spare before your train arrives.
