Velo Grablje Traditional Cache

5 km from Brusje is the village of Velo Grablje, which originated in the 14th century. It delights the visitor with its architecture of picturesque stone houses and courtyards. Walking through the small pleasant alleys, one experiences the spirit of old times. Today the village is almost completely abandoned and has only about 10 inhabitants. It was once a rich and progressive place, known for the production of good wine, olive oil and honey, and one of the largest suppliers of lavender oil in Europe. From Velo Grablje you can walk along the dried-up stream towards the sea to Malo Grablje.
