Opposite ERT3, an oasis of coolness and greenery awaits residents and visitors who flood the area mainly in spring and summer. The Field of Areos, otherwise known as the municipal floriculture park, originally served as an exercise field for the 3rd corps, hence its name. In 1926 and for several years, the International Exhibition of Thessaloniki operated within it. As a park today it has a refreshment stand.
