Street Libraries are a beautiful home for books, placed in peoples front yards or nature strips . They are accessible from the street, and are an invitation to share the joys of reading with your neighbours.
Street Libraries are a window into the mind of a community; books come and go; no-one needs to check them in or out. People can simply reach in and take what interests them; when they are done, they can return them to the Street Library network, or pass them on to friends.
If anyone has a book or two that they think others would enjoy, they can just pop it into any Street Library they happen to be walking past.
They are a symbol of trust and hope – a tiny vestibule of literary happiness.

The very public library
This cache is hidden inside one of Wangaratta's most public street libraries. There are several residences nearby that could be watching you at GZ. Stealth will be practically impossible to achieve so I suggest you come prepared with a cover story (pun intended) to search the book shelves! Who knows, you may even decide to swap out a book as well.
Please take care of the books inside as they are a community resource and something people get a lot of enjoyment out of.
You may need to move a few books to the side to access the logbook. Please ensure everything is rehidden well to ensure it is not accidentally discovered by bookworm muggles.
