Geocache Description:


This cache is part of a series of caches which are placed at or near village halls and community centres. For details and statistics visit the Village Hall Series website Click here



 The Parish Hall is a well equipped facility offering 3 different areas for hire. There is a large car park and to one side of the hall is a large recreation ground with children’s playground. The main hall has 130 brand new upholstered chairs, several folding tables of varying sizes, a large kitchen with crockery and cutlery available for up to 130. The wooden floor is sprung and there is a large stage complete with lighting and sound system. The hall is large enough to accommodate 130 seated in comfort, and up to 200 without seating. Davies Room - This is an ideal room for small to medium meetings or toddler and children groups. It shares a kitchen and toilet facilities with the Rose Room. The room is adequate to seat at least 40 comfortably. Rose Room - The Rose Room opened in 2012 as a modern facility for use by local businesses. Users of the room are able to choose from a variety of seating configurations to suit their meeting style, as the boardroom table is modular. In traditional boardroom style the room sits 16 in comfort, while for educational sessions or presentations the theatre layout will sit 30. The room is fitted with a 60” LCD display screen and wi-fi. Flip chart, whiteboard and markers are available at no extra cost. There is a kitchen with all the equipment required for catering, or local catering partners can provide high quality, flexible catering options to ensure meetings run smoothly. There is full wheelchair access to the Rose Room.

The Cache - The cache is not at the Published Coordinates but they should take you to a Plaque on the wall where you should be able to see three dates. Make the dates 19AB 19AC D018 The Final Location is at N51 22.(B+D)D(B+D) W000 57.(A+D)(B+D)C These coordinates are only a short distance away and can be walked or driven. There is a small pull in close by the location but please take care with geokids or geodogs. Checksum for all coordinates is 53. PLEASE REPLACE AS FOUND
