Geocache Description:

15 October 2022, 17:00 - 19:00

Geocaching Victoria is a not-for-profit incorporation that seeks to promote the pastime of geocaching in the state of Victoria. Our mission is to bring the geocaching community of Victoria closer together, to encourage relationships across the state and also highlight the great geocaching experiences that exist in our state to others across Australia and around the world.

We do this by hosting small and large scale events and CITOs around Victoria as well as supporting others who also hold events around the state. We are constantly looking for opportunities to develop new and exciting ideas that can aid and enhance the geocaching experience of anyone within the state of Victoria.

  • End: Saturday 15th October 2022 @ 7:00pm

  • Location: Bonnie Doon Hotel, 1738 Maroondah Hwy, Bonnie Doon, Victoria.

  • Individuals attending this event must comply with the Government Health requirements in place at the time.

  • It is only 5 weeks until the big event in Whittlesea in November. This will be a great chance to gather to celebrate the final results of the Car Rally, and stay for dinner if you wish. Catch up with fellow cachers to chat about the day, or discuss all things Whittlesea and caching. It is also an opportunity to ask any final questions you may have of the committee, of seek a further hint for that last niggling puzzle you are yet to solve.

  • Dinner and drinks will be available to purchase

Car Rally

  • The car rally is a team adventure where you travel around in a vehicle, exploring the area. You are given a series of clues and information to help you navigate to key locations, whilst gathering answers, completing tasks, as well as challenges along the way. The aim is to make it to the rendezvous point with as many answers and tasks completed as possible.

  • Importantly - THIS IS NOT A RACE! There are no prizes or points awarded for finishing first. The aim is to arrive safely at the final location, having enjoyed your journey.

  • Further details are available in the staging point event GC9WKNH, located in Alexandra earlier in the day.

  • We will rendezvous at 5pm to tally up scores, and announce the winners. Dinner is booked for 6pm if you would like to stay and join in.

  • Please indicate in your Will Attend the number of attendees for booking purposes.

The Alexandra Event 2017 - Fish GeoArt (AX17)

  • The Alexandra Event 2017 - Fish GeoArt (AX17) is due to be archived. If you have not had a chance to collect your solved puzzles, this may be your last opportunity to find them, so consider staying in the area to collect them before or after the Car Rally. You may even be able to grab a couple during the day.
