Welcome to my second hide themed to my favorite book, The Shining by Stephen King! In the book the family often visit the town of Sidewinder and go to the public library there to take out books to read before the snows come and seal the family into the Overlook Hotel for the rest of winter.
The library is an historic building built by the Adriance family, who made their fortune with manufacturing the buckeye plow. The library opened in 1897 and today it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This is one of my favorite Hudson Valley libraries, I highly recommend taking a stroll through the historic section to see the beautiful architecture after finding the cache!
