This cache is located in shadows of the water tower near the entrance of the Isla Del Sol community of West Galveston Island. This area was once home to the fierce Karankawa Indians, but is now home to a bunch of yuppies living the salt life! Wildlife in the area currently consists of many creatures you would expect like lots of mosquitos, rabbits, seagulls, pelicans, turtles, and various coastal fish. Additionally, there are a few creatures you might not expect including the rare red wolf/coyote hybrid, alligators, rattle snakes, beavers, and white tailed deer. This is a great spot to enjoy the view and a cool breeze!
