The most powerful tiles in the game of Scrabble are the blanks -- wild cards that can be used as any letter at all, helping to make big plays for big points. In this puzzle, the blanks serve a slightly different purpose -- to hide the identity of a missing letter. You must determine which of your six letters go in which of the six blanks. Then you will be able to calculate the scores for each play, which will tell you the coordinates of the cache.
Letter values are as follows:

Here is the sequence of plays that were made in this game. All of the words are common:
1. Player 1's first move: _INGLE
2. Player 2's first move: WI_KED
3. Player 1's second move: HA_E
4. Player 2's second move: _LAND
5. Player 1's third move: HAL_
6. Player 2's third move: DECA_S
Player 1's total score is XX, and Player 2's total score is YY (both are two-digit numbers). The final coordinates are:
N 43° 39.XX1 W 072° 16.YY3
If you are familiar with Scrabble, as many people are, then you may already know how to calculate the scores. There are special squares on the board, such as DOUBLE LETTER SCORE and DOUBLE WORD SCORE, which need to be taken into account. The center square is one such DOUBLE WORD SCORE space. The tiles are partially covering up the special square markings, but if you look closely at the image, they are all visible. If you have any doubts, remember that the board is symmetric. If you don't know the scoring rules, or want a reminder, they are described in detail on Wikipedia. If you are still stuck, don't hesitate to message me with questions.
Good luck! I hope you draw many blanks while playing Scrabble, but none while solving this puzzle!
Congratulations to yogacrone on the FTF! And many thanks to salts&marbles for helping test the puzzle for correctness!
