Elhart & I had plans to go caching with pollywog 56 and do the new caches down in th ‘Junction. This plan did not survive contact, so we did a pivot and went after the FTF ON Terraine Wreck at Hays Falls!
This is an Earthcache from my friend wannabeout and I couldn’t believe no one had gone to grab the FTF. Now there are two ways to get the Falls; the short route from the West or the long climb from the old TCH. Me being ranger, I called for the shorter rout but it meant going through the deer/moose fence. There is an ATV trail the follows the Hay River which is part of the Maliseet trail. Elhart & I split up after the FTF & pictures at GZ of https://coord.info/GC9VE59 . I went back to the rangermobile & he went to find the caches he hadn’t found. We agreed to meet at the bottom of the trail.
On my way back to the rangermobile, I saw a spot that begged for a cache. Anyone travelling the new TCH might want to stop and this was a great place to leave a card promoting Maritime Mega V – Let’s Connect GC9V5Q6.
