Stojący na granicy Jordanowa z Dobrzykowem tuż przy drodze biegnącej wzdłuż wału przeciwpowodziowego metalowy krzyż wzniesiony został w 1933 roku przez szyprów: Wincentego Kolczyńskiego, Franciszka Wysokińskiego i Dionizego Wierzbickiego. Pierwotnie stał po przeciwnej stronie drogi - przy domu jednego z fundatorów.
Wówczas, gdy nie było jeszcze wałów przeciwpowodziowych, krzyż był świetnie widoczny z Wisły i strzegł wiślanych marynarzy, wskazując im drogę - wysoki na sześć metrów, szary, stalowy. Pośrodku, w małym ołtarzu, znajduje się obraz św. Barbary, patronki marynarzy, po bokach zaś wiosła i kotwice (jedna jest także na górze) oraz nitowane serce. Pod wspomnianym wyżej ołtarzem widnieje koło sterowe oraz symbole przypominające gwiazdy.
Podczas II wojny światowej Niemcy mieli zamiar krzyż pociąć i przetopi, chcąc wykorzystać do celów wojskowych, udaremnili to jednak mieszkańcy wsi. Uprzedzili okupantów - sami go zdemontowali i ukryli. Wrócił na swoje miejsce po wojnie - przetrwał do dziś, a w 2017 roku został odnowiony przez potomków pierwszych fundatorów.

Standing on the border between jordanów and dobrzyków, right by the road running along the flood embankment, the metal cross was erected in 1933 by the Skippers: Wincent Kolczyński, Franciszek Wysokiński and Dionizy Wierzbicki. Originally stood on the opposite side of the road-at the house of one of the founders.
Back then, when there were no flood embankments yet, the cross was clearly visible from the Vistula River and guarded the Vistula sailors, showing them the way - six metres high, in grey steel. In the centre, in a small altar, there is a painting of St. Barbara, the patron saint of sailors. On the sides there are oars and anchors (with an additional anchor at the top) and a riveted heart. Under the above-mentioned altar there is a steering wheel and some symbols resembling stars. During World War II, the Germans intended to cut the cross and melt it down, wanting to use it for military purposes, but the villagers prevented it. They dismantled it themselves and hid it. The cross returned to its place after the war - it has survived to this day, and in 2017 it was renovated by the descendants of the first founders.
