Across Buck Beck, you will see the BMX park that some local kids built around 2005.
When they began to dig the land they found the foundations of an old farm building which contained a large number of fossilized shells. One of the lads knew I was into geology and they notified me. I managed to get a few samples before it was all covered over again.
Initially consisting of a dirt track with a couple of hills it has now developed into a well-regarded and well-used track for all ages.
If you don't want finger-pointing then you better have 8 eyes!
