This is far as you can go along Buck Beck without using the roads to pick it up again in New Waltham. The footpath used to continue through the gate and follow Buck Beck into New Waltham. Unauthorized access to the path was withdrawn after several incidents with youth at the electrical substation just around the corner. However, for photographic or scientific purposes access to some sections may still be possible by contacting the farmer at Peaks Covert Farm and/or the Environment Agency.
DO NOT PARK AT GZ. Access to the gate is required by the Environment Agency 24/7.
