Welcome to sand ripples at Songo beach. You will have to pay an accessing fee in order to get here.
At the posted coordinates you will have to look into the water and see what kind of ripples there are. There are two types of ripples. The types are asymmetrical and symmetrical. Symmetrical ripples look like this:

Symmetric ripples are formed by bidirectional currents: currents that move in one direction and then in the opposite one. Waves cause ripples to be symmetric because both sides of the ripple become alternatively sites of erosion and deposition while water moves back and forth.
Asymmetrical currents look like this:

Asymmetrical ripples contain a steeper slope down stream. With an alternation in current flow from one direction to the opposite symmetrical ripples form.
You won't have to wade in the water if you don't want to. You can see the ripples clearly from the sand.
So basically ripples are caused by water or wind moving across loose sand. This causes erosion which carves away rocks and sand.
In order to log this earth cache you will have to do the following: 1. Identify which type of ripples are in the sand. 2. Provide a pic of you or a personal item at GZ.
