When a group of us were visiting Charleville recently, we saw some advertising signs along the highways into town promoting the Graham Andrews Parkland as an award-winning place to visit. So we did. And there was a lot to see here.
As we strolled the pathways and read about 18 different species of Outback Trees along the native Outback Timber Walk, we fed the ducks (NOT bread!!), saw the rustic sculptures, paused a moment up high on the big Red Chair and passed by the Steiger Vortex Rainmaking Guns as we already had found the geocache there. The only thing we didn't do was to try our hand at Disc Golf.
But we all agreed this was a great place for some caches. My contribution is this Wherigo Cartridge,
So, I bored through the Graham Andrews Parkland in Charleville, on a kind of board walk looking at timbers. I wasn't bored! I hope you enjoy this really short section.
You can download the cartridge here.
The cache is not too far away - you could walk, but it may be better to drive there. (The drive is much longer than the walk, though).
