Fireman’s Pond (or Fireman's Lake if you prefer) is maintained by the city of Redmond for anglers up to age 15. It's the site of the annual Fish Fair scheduled each year for the opening day of fishing season. Sponsored by the Redmond Fire Department, the event features a fishing derby, refreshments and plenty of angling advice. The Fire Department stocks the lake with catchable-size trout just before the Fish Fair, according to spokeswoman Char Steinbeck.
