Geocache Description:

The geocache is located on the east side of the fence, accessible by walking from the parking lot. There is no need to climb or go past the fence, it is PROHIBITED.

This geocache is being placed to celebrate 22 years of geocaching and 11 years of International Geocaching Day. But you can obviously find this on any day you desire. This cache is a nano, so you probably can't fit swag, unfortunately. Make sure you leave it where you found it and don't bend the wire an extreme amount.

If there are any issues with the cache, feel free to message me or write a "Needs Maintenance" log.

International Geocaching Day is on the third Saturday of every August! Geocaching started all the way back in 2000, 22 years ago. The first GPS-located cache was placed on May 3, 2000, by Dave Ulmer of Beavercreek, Oregon. Since then, millions of geocaches have been placed worldwide! International Geocaching Day started in 2011 at the 2011 Geocaching Block Party, now geocachers worldwide celebrate this day on the third Saturday of each August. From the Geocaching Official Blog, "Log any geocache, Adventure Lab® Location, or Event on August 20 to earn the International Geocaching Day 2022 souvenir." In addition to receiving a souvenir, logging a geocache, finding an Adventure Lab, or attending an Event will help beat the record of most geocachers logging a find in a single day! Currently, the record is 126,833, set on August 11, 2013. Will August 20 2022 be crowned this record?

When to Find the Cache:
