Cache is a short way along a beautiful footpath that leads away from the Maxton area of Dover to many cool places and gives you access to loads of fab walks. Initially the footpath follows parallel with the the top of Dover College's playing field which can be easily seen from the path. The cache is accessible directly from the footpath, just past the area level with the top corner of the playing field. You will come across a small corner of wooden fence on your right that marks the boundary of the corner of the field. The cache is a few meters past this just as the path goes up what look like a few little steps made from tree roots.
Once you have found the cache, enjoy one of the awesome walks that can continue on from here, either all the way to Capel via the huge sound mirrors and then on to Folkestone (around 2-3 hours) or when you reach where the path crosses (approx 15mins walk on) head uphill to the top which will give you amazing views of Dover Castle, access to Samphire Hoe or Shakespere Beach via Aycliffe, or over to the Western Heights. This footpath opens up so many possible fab walks.
The access land which this footpath forms part of were openend up for access for workers who constructed the channel tunnel and lived in temporary accommodation in an area of land just further on past the Dover College playing field
