This cache was placed on International Geocaching Day 2022.
While out for a riverside stroll on International Geocaching Day 2022 with NZDi, I noticed a new seat had been placed near the riverside walking trail. Knowing there were several nearby caches, I checked it for proximity issues with those caches and discovered it couldn't have been placed much better to deconflict with them. It was almost as if a geocacher was responsible for its placement.
The seat has a plaque on it calling it 'The Marion McCormick Memorial Seat' and dedicating it to the memory of Beavertown Lions Club Members who served our Community with Pride.
Sit right down and feel for the cache while taking in the views over the Taylor River towards the Omaka Airfield and beyond to the Richmond Ranges.
