After my last visit to this area, and my encounter with the drain dwelling stranger, I decided to approach another hide attempt with caution. I chose today because it is a beautiful summer day. Certainly the stranger from my previous encounter would be hiding in the depths of the drain, trying to avoid this mid day heat.
As I approached my hiding spot, I spoke loudly "Mr Drain Dweller are you there?" I asked in what I believed was to be a fruitless attempt. To my astonishment and dismay two eyes appeared. "Yes? What can you possibly want?" He replied with that same raspy voice.
"I've come to hide a container again, it's small, much too small to hold a" I then remembered our previous encounter and his obsession over the lost key.
"Look, I don't care what you do" he said "Me and the missus are having a bad day, how about you tell me a joke and then I let you do what you've come to do"
"Easy enough" I replied
"What did the Daddy buffalo tell his boy when leaving for work?"
