Although the date of establishment of Suzume Shrine (Kakinuma) is unknown, the 10th generation of Ryushoji Temple, Otoshunbo Yushin (1752, 1752) wrote down the shrine's auspiciousness, which is said to be the name of Uzume. It is said that it became a sparrow. In the 4th year of the Meiji era, it was elevated to a village shrine.

雀神社(柿沼)の創建年代等は不詳ながら、龍昌寺十世の音春房宥信(宝暦2年1752年寂)が、当社に記した縁起に天鈿女命(ウズメ)が転じて雀(スズメ)となったといいます。明治4年村社に列格しました。
