This spot has significance to me. This is the house my grandma grew up in. From time to time growing up my family would come to the house for a visit/have a picnic. Back in the day this was town's blacksmith shop. It opertaed from 1883 until 1955. It was first run by James Lynes Sr. (My great-great grandpa) and was then passed down to his son James Lynes Jr. (My great-grandpa). After the shop closed for good in 1955 due to there no longer being a need for blacksmiths. After closing for good the shop became frozen in time. The propoerty now belongs to the county and has been turned into a local heritage site/museum. If you wish to learn more about the shop/house click here. I have placed this cache here in memory of my grandma who passed away in 2019.
As for the cache it should be a quick P&G. Since this proporty is on the side of the highway I would recomed parking at the post office next door. Please no caching after dark out of respect to the people who live next door/accross the street.
