Geocache Description:

This cache is located in northern Dekalb County in the well-named community of Valley Head.   The posted coordinates will take you to a historic marker describing the Cherokee Council tree.  Chief Sequoyah held meetings here, and taught his newly invented alphabet.  From the posted coordinates, at the sign, look for a large tree approximately 320' away at 220 degrees true.  You are looking for a bison tube.

The sign, cache container and nearby parking are on public land.
