The Chugach backyard we have in Anchorage is amazing no matter what the weather, time of day, or season it is. This trail heading towards Williwaw lakes and peak has been recently improved with walkways and bridges and is accessible year round for walkers and skiers. Bring binoculars to view bull moose in Fall, cows with calves and lovely wildflowers in Summer, and sheep all year. Bears are often there but less often seen, so bring bear spray along with you. Did I mention there were so many birds? The day this cache was placed included a bull moose, two groups of sheep on the mountainsides, and many birds including 2 Northern Harriers. Amazing.
Moving on. This cache was placed to share what I consider a space in precious place. It's found on a trail I enjoy, and placed in a manner I enjoy. Have fun!
