Bay Bee Shoe Company was the first manufactoring plant in Dresden built in 1948. The plant, while changed names and owners did make shoes until the early 1990's. The plant has been demolished.
On the night of December 10, 2021, an EF-3 tornado ripped throught the city of Dresden, destroying and damaging about 50% of the town. Thankfully, there were no fatalities. The original cache remained at this location, but the cache page was archived since the recovery efforts had the construction debris placed near this cache. Just under 6,000 tons of debris was located here and was recently removed allowing this cache to be resubmitted.
One is seeking a bison tube on a fence of a water tower and one can park within feet of the cache.
