Welcome to Cass Scenic Railroad State Park! A unique destination rich in culture, history, and nature. Our new geocache network gives guests an opportunity to explore the park in a non-traditional way. This is an seven-stage multicache, with coordinates for the next destination provided at each stage. Along the way, learn about the history of the town, and catch some beautiful natural views!
Each cache is located in a hard-sided, dark-gray, plastic ammo box with CSRR State Park markings. Original contents include: site interpretation/coordinates for next location, cache instructions. Original swag includes: patches, pencils, keychains, bookmarks, and bracelet cords.
This cache is family friendly, and we encourage people of all ages to participate. Terrain is not difficult, and much of the cache is within walking distance from one another. However, for those with mobility issues, feel free to drive from point to point throughout town. Please make sure to stay on proper sidewalks, trails, and roadways when participating. Happy hunting!
THERE IS NO CELLULAR SERVICE THROUGHOUT MOST OF POCAHONTAS COUNTY, INCLUDING CSRR STATE PARK. Plan accordingly. In case of emergency, feel free to visit our park office in the company store. A wired payphone is located outside the Last Run Restaurant at the park.
