Cache Location
Walthall Park is a park in Downtown Hattiesburg (DHA) that is a great place for tourists and locals alike to visit. A top-rated park in Hattiesburg, the green space and scenery is perfect for optimal relaxation and excercise, and the park plays host to a number of annual events hosted by DHA and the Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood Association, including Downtown Crawfish Jam, Downtown Barbecue Showdown, and Hattiesburg Craft Beer Festival, and many others.
The Walthall Foundation was established in 1995 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable foundation for the sole purpose of restoring and preserving the Walthall Elementary School property - where the first parent-teacher association of Mississippi was organized in 1907. Since the sale of the building and the conversion of the property into a residential condominium development, the Walthall Foundation is now responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Walthall Condo Unit #108 and the surrounding grounds.
The Hide
The cache is a small, watertight lock-and-lock container small enough for small trackables and trade items.
