Finally getting around to finishing this trail. Hope you enjoy the trail as much as I have. No bushwhacking more than a few inches needed. Bug spray in those pesky bug months is a must...nice trail for walking or riding a bike.
The scuba/boat/wading attributes are for the intense cachers within us who want to make simple caches way harder or just don't like to walk -- there is a little pond/creek so go ahead and bring the scuba gear and try that approach if you like
The Erie Attica Trail lies in the Village of Avon along the former railroad for which it's named. A glimpse of this past can be seen in the beautiful truss bridge that spans 220 feet across the Genesee River. The wooded rail-trail begins on the west end of Avon and continues west just over a mile to the Genessee Valley Greenway. Cache was placed with permission of the Village board and Mayor Tom Freeman. No Room for tradeables and make sure to bring a pen.
