Geocache Description:

A simple walk of just over a mile from one end of the Erie Attica Trail to the other.

Absolutely NO need to swim, wade, bring your scuba gear or your kayak but if you feel you must go for it...a very small creek/pond is just north of this amazing trail..  I would recommend walking or biking this well maintained gravel trail though.

The Erie Attica Trail lies in the Village of Avon along the former railroad for which it's named. A glimpse of this past can be seen in the beautiful truss bridge that spans 220 feet across the Genesee River. The wooded rail-trail begins on the west end of Avon and continues west just over a mile to the Genessee Valley Greenway.  Cache was placed with permission of the Village board and Mayor Tom Freeman.  No Room for tradeables and make sure to bring a pen.
