PRIMA TAPPA: SAN CESARIO
Conosciuto in epoca romana come "Castrum Caesaris", in onore di Cesare Augusto. Divenuto il Cristianesimo religione di Stato all'epoca di Costantino, questa località fu posta sotto la protezione di san Cesario di Terracina (il santo che ha sostituito e cristianizzato il culto pagano dei Divi Cesari).
La località fu evidenziata con il nome San Cesario nel Medioevo, quando in un decreto di Tancredi, Conte di Lecce, il territorio fu donato al monastero dei Celestini.

FIRST STAGE: SAN CESARIO
Known in Roman times as "Castrum Caesaris", in honor of Caesar Augustus. Having become the state religion of Christianity at the time of Constantine, this locality was placed under the protection of San Cesario di Terracina (the saint who replaced and Christianized the pagan cult of the Divi Cesari).
The locality was highlighted with the name San Cesario in the Middle Ages, when in a decree of Tancredi, Count of Lecce, the territory was donated to the Celestine monastery.
