2017 metais spalio 13 dieną, oficialiai atidarytas rekonstruotas krašto kelias Nr. 183 Ąžuolų Būda-Kazlų Rūda. Atlikus numatytus rekonstrukcijos darbus, neatpažįstamai pasikeitė šis kelias. Be to, dešinėje kelio pusėje buvo nutiestas ir naujas pėsčiųjų bei dviračių takas.

Taigi, ilgai laukta visų Kazlų Rūdos savivaldybės gyventojų svajonė – turėti šiuolaikišką ir saugų kelią, tapo realybe.

Rekonstruojant krašto kelią, greta jo buvo nutiestas ir pėsčiųjų bei dviračių takas, kurį ypač pamėgo, aktyvų gyvenimo būdą propaguojantys, Kazlų Rūdos savivaldybės gyventojai.
