The little town of Mehlingen is a charming town. Though seemingly unimposing and small, this town has lots of old and eclectic houses as well as many trails that wind through the surrounding fields and forest. Mehlingen is home to the Mehlinger Heide, the second largest Heide in Germany. We decided to plant our first geocache here because it is our current hometown and there aren't a ton of geocaches here to begin with. Though you would regularly pass this little town by, I hope you enjoy seeing it as you search for the geocache! If you are interested in seeing more of the area, there are geocaches that take you around the town as a "tour". The geocache has room for tradeables. Please put it back where you found it and hide it well so other geocachers can enjoy it as well! Thank you!
Das Städtchen Mehlingen ist ein charmantes Örtchen. Obwohl relativ unscheinbar und klein, hat diese Stadt viele alte und vielseitige Häuser sowie viele Wanderwege, die sich durch die umliegenden Felder und Wälder schlängeln. Mehlingen beheimatet die Mehlinger Heide, die zweitgrößte Heide Deutschlands. Wir haben uns entschieden, unseren ersten Geocache hier zu platzieren, weil es unser momentaner Wohnsitz ist und es hier kaum Geocaches gibt. Auch wenn du regelmäßig nur an dieser kleinen Stadt vorbeifährst, wünsche ich dir viel Spaß bei der Suche nach dem Geocache! Wenn du mehr von der Umgebung sehen möchtest, gibt es Geocaches, die dich als "Tour" durch die Stadt führen. Der Geocache bietet Platz für Tradeables. Bitte lege es dort zurück, wo du es gefunden hast, und verstecke es gut, damit andere Geocacher auch Spaß daran haben! Dankeschön!
