This is our second hide! We found this cool spot as we were out hiking the area one day and said to ourselves; what a great spot to hide a cache! So we made it official and decided to hide one.
The cache is located in the same regional area as our first cache in the beautiful Firehole Canyon area just a short drive south of town.
The hike is relatively short with mild to moderate terrain. We recommend parking at the tree line a ways off the county road just east of the county shooting range. Low clearance vehicles can park along the shoulder of the county road or near the shooting range parking if you choose. We do NOT recommend driving the two-track road unless you have HIGH clearance 4WD side by sides, trucks, Jeeps etc. as the road has some very big rocks to climb over.
After a short hike / drive, you will find a patch of boulders off to the south side of the road. Simply climb up and explore around to find the cache.
Please leave cache as found. Cache is a hard waterproof plastic container. FTF will find several trinkets with pen and pad for log book along with Geocache stickers/ lables.
Good Luck! And Happy Hunting!
