In an idyllic setting, the six-kilometer trim track Mirna-Gorenja village, Trimmigo winds along the Vejar stream from the pond below Mirna Castle, also known as Sleeping Beauty, and below nearby Trbinec.
In the pleasant shade, both professional and recreational athletes are kept company by the rustling of leaves, the babbling of a stream and the song of birds.

Grad Mirna se v pisnih virih prvič omenja ABCČ, prvi lastnik pa je bil koroški vojvoda Ulrik, ki ga je 1250 predal oglejskim patriarhom. Ti so vanj namestili Mirnske gospode (eni najmočnejših iz stranske veje dinastije kneginje svete Heme Breško-Selške). Grad je imel mogočno obrambno obzidje z obrambnimi stolpi. Na božični dan 1942 so ga požgali partizani, da se v njem ne bi naselil okupator.
Mirna Castle is mentioned in written sources for the first time in ABCČ, and the first owner was Duke Ulrik of Carinthia, who handed it over to the patriarchs of Ogle in 1250. They installed the Lords of Mirna in it (one of the most powerful from the side branch of the dynasty of Princess Saint Hema of Breško-Selška). The castle had a mighty defensive wall with defensive towers. On Christmas Day 1942, it was burned down by partisans to prevent the occupier from settling in it.
